Popular forces and activists in the town of Al-Tur, in the center of occupied Jerusalem, called for defending Al-Aqsa and confronting the “Flags March” tomorrow, Thursday.
The “Youth Movement in Al-Tur” said in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by the Beit Al-Maqdis Agency: “The national and Islamic forces / the town of Al-Tur and the suburbs of Jerusalem call on you to go out tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, May 18, 2023, with massive marches and to announce a general mobilization in response to the march of the Zionist flags and in confirmation of the rejection of Judaization and changing identity.” For Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.”
The “Youth Movement” announced in its statement that the popular movement will be underway tomorrow by raising the Palestinian flag in every neighborhood, alley, street and house “indicating resistance and steadfastness,” and going out at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, to Damascus Gate to confront the Zionist settlers. The statement continued, saying “And whoever cannot reach Damascus Gate, go out into the country, close the streets, and clash with the occupation so that they do not isolate our people and youth at Damascus Gate.”
