The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Islamic Action Party, Murad Al-Adaileh, confirmed that Jordan's official use of diplomatic and political language is no longer sufficient to respond to the statements of the Israeli occupation government ministers regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In his statement, Al-Adayleh called for practical steps to restrain the occupation from its extremist practices in Al-Aqsa and occupied Jerusalem.

The Minister of the Negev and Galilee in the occupation government, “Yitzhak Wasserlov” from the “Otzma Yehudit” party, mocked Jordan’s condemnation of the Ben Gvir storming of Al-Aqsa, and said, “They printed another copy of the previous condemnation paper.”

Al-Adayleh said in a special statement to Shehab News Agency that the Jordanian government must refer the Wadi Araba Treaty, the gas agreement, and other economic agreements with the Israeli occupation to the courts.

He added: “When the practical positions of the Jordanian government begin and the angry practical response becomes clear, the occupation government will be well aware of what the Jordanian position means.”

Al-Adayleh stressed that such practical political positions are capable of restoring the Jordanian position towards the extreme right-wing occupation government, which no longer takes into account at all the religious status of Jerusalem among Muslims.

Al-Adayleh reminded that the occupation government, with the participation of its extremist ministers, is deliberately insulting the Jordanian state, government and people, and in fact it is trying every time to present an image that it has the upper hand in the affairs of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and is trying to appear in the position of the decision-maker over Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Islamic Action Front Party continued: “With these statements, the occupation government continues to deny Jordan’s role in the issue of Al-Aqsa, and hence the Jordanian government must act differently from all previous policies, because this government does not take into account Jordanian positions.”

Al-Adayleh concluded his statement by saying: “The occupation’s attacks on Al-Aqsa and its accompanying statements require a practical and effective movement to protect the holy sites and support the Palestinian resistance, which is the true basis for preserving the holy sites.”
