The occupation authorities sentenced Jerusalemite prisoner Medhat Al-Issawi to 6 years in prison.

Al-Issawi spent a total of 29 years in the occupation prisons.

Prisoner Medhat is a brother of prisoner Samer Al-Issawi, who went on the longest open hunger strike in human history.

His brother Fadi Al-Issawi was martyred during a march denouncing the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in 1994.

He began his journey with families in the occupation prisons in the year 1990, and his last arrest was in the year 2021.
