Yesterday, Saturday 8/12/2023, the Jerusalemite prisoner Fadwa Hamadeh entered her seventh year in the prisons of the Zionist occupation. So what is the story of this Jerusalemite prisoner?
The Jerusalemite prisoner is 36 years old. She was 29 years old when the occupation forces arrested her from Bab al-Amoud Square, in the center of occupied Jerusalem. After weeks of investigation and various forms of torture in the “al-Maskoubiya” prison, the occupation authorities charged her with “the charge” of attempting to carry out a stabbing operation against occupation soldiers.
The occupation court sentenced Fadwa Hamada to 10 years in prison and a fine of 30 thousand shekels. Hamada was transferred between several occupation prisons such as “Al-Damon” and “Abu Kabir” where she is currently being held. Hamada suffers from several health problems amidst deliberate neglect by the occupation.
Fadwa Hamada is married, and has five sons and daughters. She is from the town of Sur Baher, south of occupied Jerusalem.
