Today, Thursday 8/17/2023, the National Forum for Supporting the Resistance and Protecting the Homeland in Jordan issued a statement in which it denounced the ministerial meeting that brought together Jordanian and Zionist officials in the Emirates recently.
The statement denounced the holding of the Jordanian-Zionist ministerial meeting at a time when the occupation is waging a frenzied war of liquidation in the West Bank, and despite its non-stop aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the ban on reconstruction and maintenance work there for a period exceeding 40 days, and despite the ongoing siege of Gaza and the suffocation of its people.
The forum’s statement stated: “In the face of a Zionist government whose ministers are speaking on a platform that places Jordan on the map of the Zionist entity, and in light of the actual implementation of the measures to annex the Jordan Valley in the West Bank; Insisting on such meetings will only be seen by the occupier as a green light to move forward, and a sign of a lack of immunity and vitality, in an approach that has brought nothing but disaster and dependence to Jordan.”
The forum emphasized in its statement that the resistance is waging its battle in the Jenin camp, the Nablus camps, and Aqabat Jabr camp, and is confronting the occupation’s aggression in the prisons with bare chests and empty intestines, and its heroes are launching their operations in the heart of Tel Aviv and at the occupation’s checkpoints, not only in defense of Palestine, but also in defense of Jordan and the rest of the nation also defend Palestine in the face of occupation. Besieging it, denying it weapons, and persecuting it is a condemned and rejected act that only serves the occupation and the enemies of this nation.
The statement concluded with a call to the Jordanian people and the Arab and Islamic peoples to be with the resistance fighters and those stationed in their movements and support, and not to allow the occupation to single them out in any way.
