Two Palestinian boys were martyred yesterday evening, Sunday, during confrontations that broke out between citizens and Israeli occupation forces, at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, south of Ramallah.
Palestinian medical sources announced the death of Khaled Hamidat and Suleiman Kanaan, after they were hit by live occupation bullets during the confrontations.
Hundreds of Palestinians mourned the body of the martyr Suleiman Kanaan, and when Kanaan’s body was transported to his family’s home, his mother said: “He kept telling me that I wanted to be martyred.”
In fulfillment of his will, Kanaan’s mother carried her son’s body and carried him to his funeral amid the presence of hundreds of Palestinians who cheered for the martyr and said “Allahu Akbar.”
The martyr, Suleiman Kanaan, is 17 years old. He is originally from the town of Hizma, north of Jerusalem, and he and his family lived in the town of Birzeit, Ramallah.
