Yesterday, Monday, Palestinian medical sources announced that a Jerusalem boy was shot dead by occupation forces in the vicinity of the Al-Eizariya checkpoint, east of occupied Jerusalem.

The sources reported that the martyr boy is Wadih Alyan (Owaisat), who is 14 years old, from the town of Jabal Mukaber, south of occupied Jerusalem.

The Israeli occupation police claimed that the boy, Owaisat, had attempted to carry out a stabbing attack targeting the occupation forces in the vicinity of the Al-Eizariya checkpoint, so soldiers of the so-called “border guards” opened fire on him, killing him as a martyr.

In the same context, the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that the occupation forces shot the boy Owaisat, leaving him to bleed to death, and preventing ambulance crews from reaching him.

The national and Islamic forces announced a general strike in the town of Jabal Mukaber for 3 days following the martyrdom of Owaisat, while the occupation authorities are still detaining the martyr’s body.
