Yesterday, Wednesday, a Jerusalemite merchant was injured by Israeli settler gunfire in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses reported that a group of armed settlers attacked a commercial store in the middle of the bazaar market inside the Old City, and one of them fired bullets at the Jerusalemite merchant Sinan Barakat and his son, wounding them with varying injuries.

Eyewitnesses added that the settlers attacked the merchants inside the market with profanity, and the settlers also destroyed the contents of the shops.

The occupation forces stormed the bazaar in large numbers, closed the roads surrounding it, and prevented the movement of citizens.

Recently, dozens of settlers armed with pistols and machine guns have been observed roaming the streets and alleys of the city of Jerusalem.
