Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque despite the restrictions and military measures imposed by the occupation police at the gates of the mosque and the entrances to the Old City and Jerusalem, and the hot weather conditions.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 40,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers today in Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the occupation measures and restrictions on worshipers’ access to the mosque.
In the same context, a Beit Al-Maqdis Agency correspondent reported that the occupation forces obstructed the arrival of many young men to Al-Aqsa Mosque and checked the identities of those arriving to perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa.
