Prisoners' institutions said that the number of prisoners and detainees in occupation prisons had reached about 9,900 by the beginning of August 2024.

The prisoners' institutions stated in a statement that this data does not include all detainees from Gaza, specifically those in the camps affiliated with the occupation army.

The institutions explained that the number of administrative detainees in the occupation prisons reached 3,432, and the number of female prisoners in the occupation prisons was only 86 prisoners in the (Damon) prison, among them a pregnant woman, Jihad Dar Nakhleh.

The institutions indicated that among the female prisoners are 23 female prisoners who are administratively detained, and there may be female prisoners from Gaza in the occupation camps, but there is no clear data on their numbers.

Prisoners' institutions pointed out that the number of detained children is no less than 250 children living in difficult humanitarian conditions.

The prisoners' institutions explained that the number of Gaza detainees recognized by the occupation prison administration is 1,584, noting that this data does not include all detainees, specifically those in camps affiliated with the occupation forces.
