The Wadi al-Joz residential neighborhood is located in the northeastern corner of the Jerusalem Wall. It is home to about 15,000 Jerusalemites, and includes the only industrial zone in Jerusalem.

The neighborhood faces the threat of two massive settlement plans: the Silicon Valley plan and the new downtown plan.

Over the past three years, the occupation municipality in Jerusalem has promoted the largest settlement project targeting the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood, which bears the name “Business Complex” or “Silicon Valley.”

“Silicon Valley” is a dangerous settlement project that is working to establish a high-tech and technology complex, huge shopping malls, and a biblical park on the ruins of the only industrial zone in the city of Jerusalem.

About 200 meters from the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque

The occupation municipality allocated 2.1 billion shekels to establish the settlement project that threatens to confiscate 2,000 dunams of land in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood and demolish about 200 industrial facilities in Jerusalem that are threatened with demolition.
