Member of the Political Bureau and Head of the Jerusalem Affairs Office of Hamas, Haroun Nasser al-Din, warned of the escalation of settler incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and what they are planning for the upcoming holidays, stressing the need to tighten the reins and intensify the presence there.

Nasser al-Din explained that the mobilization and protection of Al-Aqsa is a priority and a trust for everyone who can in order to thwart the plans of the occupation and the settlers, adding that the people of the West Bank and Jerusalem have a great responsibility to defend the blessed mosque.

He added: "Everyone must bear their historical responsibility towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, and defend it with all means and tools and protect it from the dangerous aggression that threatens it."

He pointed out that the occupation does not stop trying to impose plans for temporal and spatial division, to reach complete control over it and Judaize it.

Nasser al-Din praised the steadfastness and resilience of the people of Jerusalem in light of the fierce attack they are being subjected to, stressing that our Palestinian people will not surrender to the aggression of the occupation and its brutal crimes, and will continue to adhere to their right to their holy sites and land until the occupation is defeated.
