The Israeli occupation authorities forced the Abu Rayala family from Jerusalem to demolish their home in Issawiya, north of Jerusalem.

Hisham Abu Rayala told Beit Al-Maqdis News that the house was built in 1970 and was inhabited by his mother and two sisters with special needs.

Abu Rayala added that he decided to demolish the house himself due to the high financial costs imposed by the occupation in the event of the demolition, in addition to the fear of damage and destruction that might befall neighboring houses as a result of the demolition of the house by the occupation bulldozers.

Stressing that the coordinator of the occupation municipality in Jerusalem had threatened the family with destroying what was around the house if the municipality crews carried out the demolition operation.

It is noteworthy that the occupation demolished 14 Jerusalemite facilities during the month of November, according to the statistics of Beit Al-Maqdis News.
