The ritual of “priestly blessings” that the invaders of Al-Aqsa Mosque used to perform during certain seasons of aggression against the mosque is now performed frequently in Al-Aqsa.

A video clip taken yesterday, Monday, showed a settler performing the “priestly blessing” with the participation and supervision of other settlers, while the occupation policeman accompanying them turned his face away, so that they would feel more free.

It is noteworthy that the priestly blessing is a biblical ritual that imitates the priests of the alleged temple, during which the rabbi accompanies his disciples and they raise their hands and extend them above their heads, while reciting passages from the “Book of Numbers.”

The ritual is usually performed during the Jewish holidays, which is the season of the most violent aggression on Al-Aqsa Mosque during the year.
