Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem, despite the restrictions and military measures imposed by the occupation police at the gates of the mosque and the entrances to the Old City.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that 40,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers today at Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the occupation’s measures and restrictions on worshipers’ access to the mosque.

The Jerusalem News correspondent reported that the occupation forces prevented dozens of young men from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque, and assaulted and pushed them at Bab Al-Asbat.

After Friday prayers, thousands of Palestinians performed the funeral prayer in absentia for the martyr Muhammad Diab al-Masri (Muhammad al-Deif), the commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades, and the Qassam leaders who were martyred with him yesterday.
