Today, Sunday, the occupation forces closed a bookstore (library) in the Khan al-Zeit market inside the Old City of Jerusalem, claiming that it was selling “incitement books.”
The Jerusalem News correspondent said that the occupation intelligence stormed the Jerusalem Library and handed its owners an immediate decision to close the library for a whole month under the pretext of selling incitement and illegal books, noting that a picture of the decision was hung on the library gate.
The occupation imposes stifling restrictions and restrictions on Jerusalemite merchants in the markets of the Old City in particular, and burdens them with exorbitant taxes and financial violations under various pretexts and excuses with the aim of imposing economic control over the city.
