Dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday morning, following days of intense incursions into the mosque during the Jewish Passover holiday.
A Jerusalem News correspondent reported that 130 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Mughrabi Gate, carrying out provocative tours during their incursion and performing Talmudic rituals publicly on the eastern side of the mosque, under heavy protection from the occupation forces, who provided them with security cover.
Over the past few days, Al-Aqsa Mosque has witnessed widespread and unprecedented raids in celebration of Passover, with the participation of extremist rabbis and government officials. They engaged in a series of violations and provocations inside the mosque, under the full protection of the occupation police, who impose strict restrictions on Muslim worshippers and their movements.
This year's Passover holiday saw an unprecedented number of settlers storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque. A total of 4,608 settlers stormed the mosque during the first four days of the holiday, marking a significant increase compared to last year's 4,345 incursions during the entire holiday.
