This morning, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the home of the Governor of Jerusalem and member of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah Movement, Adnan Ghaith, in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Coinciding with the continued incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Hebrew Yom Kippur, the occupation seeks to launch a wide-scale arrest campaign against Palestinians to facilitate the incursions.
The Governor of Jerusalem has been arrested dozens of times since assuming his duties as Governor of Jerusalem in August 2018. He is subjected to a campaign of persecution, arrest, and prevention from participating in meetings or meeting with Palestinian figures, in addition to being prevented from traveling or leaving occupied Jerusalem.
