
The National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy signed an agreement with the Hilal Al-Quds Club to support the club’s football academy. During the project, Hilal Al-Quds will sponsor hundreds of Jerusalemite children.
The signing of the agreement at the company’s headquarters in Ramallah was attended by the General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy, Mr. Imad Al-Hindi, and the President of Hilal Al-Quds Club, Lawyer Diaa Al-Shuwaiki, in addition to the club’s board member, Mr. Diab Qarsh, the club’s administrator, Mr. Hussam Abu Sneineh, and the Director of the Media Center at Hilal Al-Quds Club, Mr. Othman Al-Shuaibi.
“Our support for Hilal Al-Quds Club comes within the framework of implementing the company’s strategy aimed at supporting the youth and developing the sports sector in Palestine, especially in the city of Jerusalem, where Hilal Al-Quds Club is considered an important sports edifice,” said Mr. Imad Al-Hindi, General Manager of the National Beverage Company Coca-Cola/Cappy (NBC), adding that NBC believes that its social responsibility requires it to provide the requirements and support the environment that nurtures Palestinian talents.
Al-Hindi considered that the company is proud of its partnership with Hilal Al-Quds Club, which is working hard in the city of Jerusalem to develop young players and provide Palestinian sports with young talents, praising the efforts of the leader Hilal Al-Quds in providing care for Jerusalemite children through a number of sports projects that have become a destination for young players in Jerusalem.
For his part, the President of Hilal Al-Quds Club, Attorney Diaa Al-Shweiki, expressed his pride in the strong partnership with the National Beverage Company, indicating that this cooperation is not the first with the company, hoping for the partnership to continue and develop in the future. Al-Shweiki announced the Jerusalem club’s continuous efforts to develop projects aimed at caring for Jerusalemite children and harnessing all necessary efforts to build the capabilities of Palestinian children in Jerusalem in the field of sports, specifically football.
Al-Shuwaiki presented an honorary shield to Mr. Imad Al-Hindi as a form of thanks for his continuous support to the club. Al-Shuwaiki also explained that Hilal Al-Quds Club sponsors and cares for hundreds of Jerusalemite children, pointing out the importance of the various parties working together to support sports in the city of Jerusalem and meet the necessary needs to develop Jerusalemite sports and establish its name, especially since Hilal Al-Quds Club has succeeded in leaving a great impact in the sports, social and cultural fields in the city of Jerusalem.
