Jerusalemite station station Hanadi Halawani said that the Israeli occupation exploits Jewish holidays in order to intensify settlers’ incursions, in order to achieve new Judaizing goals within it.

Halwani explained that the occupation’s measures in the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the approaching holiday called the Hebrew Festival of Lights “Hanukkah,” confirm that it is seeking to achieve new and dangerous gains there.

She pointed out that the facilities granted to the settlers take place at a time when the occupation forces are tightening their measures against the men and women stationed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa and its environs, and the Old City, which include searches, assaults, and preventing access to the mosque.

She confirmed that the recent banishment decisions issued against her and dozens of Jerusalemites were aimed at facilitating settlers’ incursions during the Hanukkah holiday.

He added: “The occupation believes that it can achieve its goal of emptying Al-Aqsa of its men and women, by force and oppression, but that will not happen. Because our message outside the mosque is stronger, and its impact becomes global and deeper.”

She stressed the necessity of confronting the occupation’s restrictions on Al-Aqsa Mosque and repelling any violations it may be exposed to during the coming period.

She stressed that “travelling to the mosque and not leaving it empty in front of the settlers is the only way to guarantee its protection and confront any Judaization plans against it.”

Palestinian calls continue for the necessity of massive mobilization and intensification of ties in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the coming days and to participate in the great dawn prayer there, in light of the settlers’ intention to increase their incursions into the mosque and to commemorate their Jewish holidays inside its courtyards.

The calls emphasized the importance of conveying a message to the occupation about the absolute Palestinian right to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and not allowing the mosque to be invaded by settlers and the occupation army.

Temple groups are preparing to celebrate the so-called Jewish “Hanukkah” holiday in Al-Aqsa Mosque, on December 18, 2022, amid Palestinian calls to confront dangerous Judaization plans.

During the Jewish holidays, settlers seek to crowd in large numbers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, intensify raids, attempt to light the menorah inside Al-Aqsa, and carry out provocations inside the courtyards of the mosque that will last for eight days.
