On Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a boy and a young man after raiding their homes in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested the boy Jaafar Al-Bashiti (14 years old), after storming and searching his house in the Old City of Jerusalem, and arrested the young man Obaida Bakirat from the town of Sur Baher, southeast of the city.

In a related context, the occupation court extended the detention of the young man, Muhammad Mahmoud Atoun (22 years old), and his brother, Dajana Mahmoud Atoun (17 years old), until next Wednesday.

The occupation forces arrested the two young men, Atoun, a week ago, after storming their home in the town of Sur Baher, and their older brother, Izz al-Din Atoun, was summoned for investigation in rooms (4) of the “al-Maskoubiya” detention center.

The lawyer of the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, Firas Jabrini, explained that the occupation court extended the detention of the boy Abdullah Obeid until Monday, noting that he was arrested a week ago by the “Musta’ribeen Unit” from the village of Issawiya, and was subjected to beatings during his arrest.
