Four journalists were killed today, Sunday, in an Israeli bombing, the second targeting Asmaa School in Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City.

The school, which is run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), houses displaced families and was previously subjected to Israeli shelling last week.

Identical medical and media sources reported that the occupation targeted the “Asmaa” school, which resulted in the martyrdom of 8 citizens, including 4 journalists.

The martyred journalists are: Head of the Media Department at Al-Aqsa TV, Saed Radwan, editor Hamza Yousef Abu Salmiya, journalist Nadia Al-Sayed, and journalist at the Jerusalem Foundation, Hanin Baroud, who joined her four brothers, while her father is still missing.

The Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation, holding the occupation fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.

In a press release, the office called on the international community, international organizations, and those concerned with journalistic work in the world to deter the occupation and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes and to pressure it to stop the crime of genocide and the crime of killing and assassinating Palestinian journalists.

With the martyrdom of the four journalists, the number of martyred journalists since the beginning of the war of extermination on Gaza has risen to 181 journalists.
