Hebrew media announced that 8 settlers were killed in a shooting operation in the “Neve Yaakov” settlement established on the lands of the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Hebrew Channel 13, the operation led to the death of five settlers and the injury of five others, but the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper announced that the death toll in the Jerusalem operation had risen to 8.
The Israeli occupation forces were on alert in the area of the operation and its aircraft flew in the skies of northern occupied Jerusalem following the operation. A circulating video clip showed the sound of heavy gunfire being heard in the area of the operation.
