Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, stressed the importance of holding the international conference on supporting Jerusalem, which will be hosted by the League’s General Secretariat next Sunday.

Aboul Gheit pointed out the importance of giving this event the necessary impetus to introduce the issue of Jerusalem and its legal, political, and economic dimensions, and to mobilize all support in order to strengthen the steadfastness of the people of Jerusalem in the face of the Israeli occupation policies, which aim to tighten the noose around them, in preparation for the Judaization of the Holy City and the elimination of its face.
