As what is known as the “Day of the Unification of Jerusalem” approaches, the “Temple” organizations continue their mobilization and calls to storm and desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque in conjunction with this “national” occasion for the occupation.
The “Temple” groups announced this morning their planning to impose the largest storming in the history of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday, May 18, 2023, on the Hebrew anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem, and they have set reaching 5,000 intruders as their central goal for that day.
A number of leaders and activists of these groups contributed to mobilizing this storm by publishing pictures of themselves carrying the number 5,000 from inside Al-Aqsa Square.
The “Temple” organizations use this number as a mobilizing ceiling for their audience, while realizing the difficulty of achieving it, especially since the largest number they achieved in their history was 2,200 intruders on 8/7/2022 in the central raid on “the anniversary of the destruction of the Temple,” which came during the aggression on the Gaza Strip at that time.
The occupation government and the Zionist right in general are seeking to impose two major attacks on Jerusalem on Thursday, May 18, which are a central storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque between 7:00-11:30 a.m., which will resume for one hour after the noon prayer, and the flag march between 4:00-6 a.m. 00:00 PM, which circles around the Old City and storms it from Damascus Gate, and this year there is an attempt to conclude it with an evening storming of Al-Aqsa for the first time since its occupation.
