Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation police decided to allow the annual Judaizing flag parade to pass through Damascus Gate.

The Beit Al-Maqdis News correspondent said that the occupation police gave final approval for the Judaization “flag march” to pass from Damascus Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem.

The Judaizing “Flags March” is an annual march by settler groups with the support of the occupation municipality in Jerusalem on “Jerusalem Unification Day,” which coincides with the Hebrew anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem in 1967.

The Judaization march begins from the vicinity of the Maman Allah cemetery located in the west of Jerusalem, towards the Hebron Gate and the New Gate, all the way to Damascus Gate and from there to the Buraq Wall through the Islamic Quarter in the Old City.

During the past years, the “Flags March” constituted a comprehensive point of confrontation on the Palestinian scene, as it was the most prominent reason for the start of the Saif al-Quds Battle in 2021, as the Palestinian resistance thwarted the march with missiles.
