Prisoners' institutions said that the wounded Jerusalemite prisoner Bilal Youssef Manasra (23 years old), from Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, is being held in the occupation's Shaare Zedek Hospital.
The Occupation Prisons Administration transferred Manasra to the hospital after he was shot during a raid on his family home to arrest him on the twenty-seventh of this month.
Prisoners' institutions explained, according to lawyer Karim Ajwa, who was able to visit him today, that the prisoner Manasra was injured in his feet, and subsequently underwent a surgery during which a platinum was placed in his right foot, and another operation will be performed on his left foot.
In the same context, prisoner institutions said that a noticeable increase had been recorded in the number of wounded prisoners since the beginning of the genocide war, whether those who were injured before or during detention, especially since the occupation soldiers escalated their shooting operations towards detainees and their families during the arrest campaigns.
It considered that shooting the detainee Manasra was a crime added to the series of escalating crimes of unprecedented intensity against detainees since October 7 and the start of the war of extermination waged by the occupation against the Gaza Strip.
