Today, Sunday, a court session will be held for the prisoner Ahmed Manasra, in the Ramla Magistrate Court, to consider classifying the case within the “Terrorism Law,” which is supposed to determine the possibility of transferring the file to the Early Release Committee (one-third), or not.

Lawyer Khaled Zabarqa had paid a visit to the prisoner, “Manasra,” last Thursday, and confirmed that his health and psychological condition was in serious danger. During the visit, he showed traces of wounds along his left arm up to the wrist, and also traces of wounds on his right arm, and he did not make eye contact or communicate. He spoke to his lawyer, and he appeared to be showing signs of illness and general exhaustion.

The occupation prison administration recently transferred the prisoner “Manasra” to “Ramla” prison after a serious deterioration in his health and psychological condition, and despite the continuous demands from the defense staff that he should be released, the occupation continues to detain him in compelling and difficult conditions in solitary confinement, and the session was postponed. During which it was scheduled to consider the matter of continuing his solitary confinement until the sixth of next July.

On the thirteenth of last April, a session was held for the prisoner “Manasra”, in which his file was transferred to a special committee to consider the classification of his case until the possibility of considering the case by the early release committee was decided, and accordingly today’s session was scheduled.

In conjunction with the session, the Prisoner’s Club calls for activating the publication of its case on the hashtags of the Ahmed Manasra campaign.
