Dozens of extremist settlers stormed, on Wednesday morning, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the Mughariba Gate, under heavy protection from the special occupation police.
The correspondent of the Jerusalem News Agency reported that (141) settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.
The reporter stated that a group of female settlers from the “Women for the Temple” association, affiliated with the Union of Temple Associations, participated in storming Al-Aqsa.
The occupation police seized the identities of worshipers arriving to Al-Aqsa, especially young people, before allowing entry to it.
The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrimah Sabri, said in press statements, “The repeated provocative settlers’ incursions are intended to establish new facts inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
He praised the steadfastness of the Almoravids, men and women secluded in the mosque, and expressed his regret for the Arab and international silence regarding what is happening in Al-Aqsa.
Every day except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of raids by settlers, in the morning and evening periods, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it in time and space.
