A delegation of dignitaries and residents of the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem visited the preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Akram Sabri, in solidarity with him in the face of the Israeli incitement campaigns and media smear campaigns against him. The delegation expressed its gratitude and support for the efforts of the preacher of Al-Aqsa.
The delegation included dignitaries from the camp’s residents, including youth, families, members of local committees, and Jerusalemite activists.
The delegation thanked Sheikh Sabri, appreciating his courageous stances with the Palestinian people during the recent crisis.
The Jerusalemite activist Hassan Alqam spoke about the dangers surrounding the city of Jerusalem and the importance of Sheikh Sabri’s role in confronting them. He pointed out that any attack on the Sheikh would lead to igniting the region, stressing the danger of attacking the religious leadership of the Palestinian people.
Member of the Supreme Islamic Council, Sheikh Ghaleb Nasser al-Din, praised the popular committees in Shuafat camp for their role in raising awareness among the steadfast residents of the camp, calling for more campaigns to support the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and to visit it.
At the end of the meeting, the camp delegation
By presenting a commemorative shield in appreciation of Dr. Sabry’s efforts in serving Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
For his part, Sheikh Sabry thanked the camp delegation for this visit, praising the steadfastness of the camp’s people and their resilience in the face of the arrogance of the occupation.
Sheikh Sabri stressed that this incitement campaign targets everyone who stands in the way of the occupation’s plans against Al-Aqsa Mosque. He added that this campaign is not new, but rather it is old and new, and is a war of nerves against us until we back down from our positions of faith towards Al-Aqsa and our cause.
Sheikh Sabry continued, “We do not consider ourselves cowards or strangers. Rather, we are the legitimate owners of this endowment land, and God’s decisions cannot be rejected, relinquished, or negotiated by anyone.”
It is noteworthy that extremist Israeli right-wing groups are leading a systematic and dangerous incitement campaign against the preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, and are demanding his arrest on charges of “incitement to confront the storming of Al-Aqsa and support the families of martyrs.”
