Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayers today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the occupation’s restrictions on checkpoints spread in and around Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite sources said that more than 70,000 worshipers from the people of Jerusalem and the occupied interior, and those who were able to reach the mosque from the West Bank, performed prayers in its courtyards and covered chapels.

The occupation forces obstructed the arrival of hundreds of West Bank residents to the city of Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Friday sermon
During the Friday sermon, the preacher of the mosque, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, stressed that the Almoravids are the good news of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and they must be one hand and one body in traveling to Al-Aqsa Mosque to rebuild it, and to defend it from all attacks.

Al-Aqsa’s preacher said: “We categorically reject any attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque and its sanctity by the occupation, its agents, settlers and groups.”

Hussein stressed that any attack or intrusion into Al-Aqsa represents a clear and intentional aggression against the mosque and its loyal people, and against the divine decision to make it Islamic.

He added: “Jerusalem and its sanctities are among the trusts and covenants that believers do not break, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a covenant that Muslims made to themselves, to be patient and patient and to be the faithful guardians and guardians of the mosque, until God decrees something that was already in effect.”

Sabri explained that the occupation and extremist groups are trying in vain to impose a new reality on Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to change the status and message of the mosque, which represents part of the faith of every Muslim in the world, and the civilization of every Arab who belongs to true and authentic Arabism.

Sheikh Hussein explained that Al-Aqsa will in no way be anything other than a purely Islamic mosque for Muslims, with no one sharing it with them.

The Al-Aqsa preacher called on the people of Jerusalem and the Almoravids not to fear the threats of the occupation and its governments, which have never been far from racism, extremism, and right-wingism.
