Dozens of extremist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning, from the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police, on the second day of the so-called Hebrew “Hanukkah” holiday.

The occupation police deployed its elements and special units in Al-Aqsa Mosque and at its gates, and in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, in preparation for securing the settlers’ incursions into the blessed mosque.

The occupation forces imposed restrictions and restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and confiscated their personal IDs at its external gates, and forced some young men and women to leave the mosque, coinciding with the incursions.

Every day except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to a series of raids by settlers, as part of the occupation’s attempts to divide it in time and space, while the pace of raids escalates during Jewish holidays, and includes attacks on worshipers and stationed people and deportations from the mosque.
