The Israeli occupation authorities continue their war on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Al-Murabitin and Al-Murabitat in its squares, while legitimizing, supporting, and providing protection for settler incursions.

In this context, academic and researcher in Jerusalem affairs, Jamal Amr, said that the occupation seizes any opportunity to carry out Judaizing and colonial actions in all of Palestine, including the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

Amr stressed that the occupation takes advantage of the Jewish holidays, most of which were of its own making, in order to pass its settlement plans, such as the so-called Festival of Lights, “Hanukkah,” which is nothing but a holiday of darkness and oppression.

Amr stressed that the next Netanyahu government is an extremist, obscurantist, religious, terrorist government, following the approach of Kahane. The holidays this year coincided with the occupation elections and the formation of Netanyahu’s government, which competed in making promises to the extremist Temple groups and promises to control the West Bank.

Amr explained that the extremists in the Knesset took advantage of the so-called Festival of Lights in order to mobilize all the dark settlement forces, storm Al-Aqsa, raise the menorah over an Islamic property, which is the Al-Buraq Al-Sharif Wall, and then dance, epic prostrations, and artificial Talmudic rituals.

Amr explained that the occupation gave the green light and supported the herds of settlers to Judaize Al-Aqsa and advance achievements at the expense of Islamic endowments and at the expense of the Al-Murabitun and Al-Murabitat, in conjunction with a massive campaign to remove the Al-Murabitun and activists in Al-Aqsa from it and from the Old City, and it was a very intense campaign.

He explained that many male and female marabouts were arrested, fined, and deported from Al-Aqsa and the Old City, in addition to imposing house arrest, prohibiting communication with the media, and constant torture and threats.

Amr pointed out that the occupation is waging a massive campaign against the sanctities and the rights of the Palestinian people, from Jerusalem to the grave of Musa Dweikat in Nablus to Bethlehem to the village of Al-Araqib in the occupied Negev, and even the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and other parts of northern and southern Palestine.
