The Israeli occupation authorities continue to obstruct the arrival of hundreds of Palestinians from the West Bank to the city of Jerusalem to perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation forces were deployed at the military checkpoints leading to Jerusalem, and obstructed the arrival of worshipers from the West Bank to Al-Aqsa.

Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque are limited to residents of Jerusalem, the occupied Palestinian interior, and a limited number of Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza who have obtained special permits.

Calls continue to head to Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it to confront the settlers’ incursions, amid praise for the defenders of Al-Aqsa and their standing in the face of the occupation’s plans.

Al-Aqsa is exposed daily, except for Friday and Saturday, to a series of settler incursions, in the morning and evening, in an attempt to impose a plan to divide it temporally and spatially, in order to Judaize Jerusalem and obliterate its Arab and Islamic identity.
