The Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed, this evening, Sunday, the news of the martyrdom of the cancer-stricken prisoner, Commander Walid Daqqa (62 years old), from Baqa al-Gharbiya in the occupied interior.

The captive martyr, Walid Dakka, born on July 18, 1962, was initially sentenced to death, and his sentence was later commuted to 37 years in prison in addition to an additional two years in the case of his involvement in the case of introducing mobile phones to prisoners.

He is considered one of the most prominent thinkers of the captive movement. He wrote many articles and books, including the story of the Secret of Oil, which won the Emirati Etisalat Award for Young People’s Literature.
