On Monday, the occupation administration of the occupied West Bank demolished an agricultural room, uprooted fruit trees and confiscated them from land belonging to the Abu Al-Humus family on the eastern side of the village of Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem.
Ayoub Ali Abu Al-Homs, one of the land owners, said, “He was surprised by the occupation forces storming the land and proceeding to remove the iron fence surrounding it, and demolishing an agricultural room made up of aluminum panels with an area of 15 square metres, containing agricultural equipment.”
He added that the occupation forces uprooted 40 olive trees, 15 grape trees, and citrus and fig trees planted about two years ago and confiscated them.
Abu Al-Homs pointed out that the forces were not satisfied with that, but they bulldozed the land, destroyed the road leading to it, cut off water supplies, and confiscated agricultural equipment.
He explained that the Abu Al-Humus family’s land is located on the eastern side of the village of Al-Issawiya and has an area of 280 dunams, and the family has all the documents proving its ownership.
