Israeli settlers stormed the Church of the Prison of Christ in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem this morning, Thursday.
The Jerusalem Governorate said in a brief press statement today that three settlers stormed the church building located opposite the Omariya School, smashed and destroyed its contents, and tried to set it on fire.
It is worth noting that the Jerusalemite Majed Al-Rishq confronted the settlers who stormed the church and prevented them from continuing their attack on it.
Jerusalem churches and Christian property are subject to repeated attacks by settlers, the latest of which was the destruction of 30 gravestones in a cemetery belonging to the Evangelical Episcopal Church in occupied Jerusalem.
