Dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday morning, through the Mughrabi Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem stated that groups of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.
She explained that the settlers received explanations about the alleged “temple” and performed Talmudic rituals on the eastern side of the mosque.
The occupation police continued to impose restrictions on the entry of Palestinians coming from Jerusalem and the occupied interior to the blessed mosque, and checked their personal IDs, and detained some of them at its external gates.
