Yesterday afternoon, Thursday, the Yasmina neighborhood in Nablus witnessed the death of 3 martyrs by the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces, after violent clashes with its special units, whose number was estimated at 200. After the end of the clash, it became clear that the 3 martyrs were: Hassan Qatnani, Moaz Al-Masry, and Ibrahim Jabr.

The three went to Jabr's house, where they were taking shelter after about a month of pursuit by the Israeli occupation forces. It became clear after their martyrdom that both Al-Masri and Al-Qatanani were the heroes of the Jordan Valley commando operation, on Friday morning, 4/6/2023.

The Jordan Valley operation came less than 24 hours after the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, emptied it of its secluded people, and attacked them. This operation and other events on the ground constituted elements of the bombing of the “Itikaf Battle,” which culminated in the imposition of seclusion within Al-Aqsa during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced in official statements their adoption of the martyrs, which indicates the state of integration between the Palestinian resistance and the popular situation in Jerusalem, in the face of the “Israeli” aggression in Ramadan.
