Today, Thursday, the occupation court decided to hold a session before the Early Release Committee to consider the case of Jerusalem prisoner Ahmed Manasra.

The court set 1:30 next Tuesday, corresponding to June 28, as the date for holding the hearing to consider the early release of the prisoner “Manasra” due to the deterioration of his health and psychological condition.

The session will be held in “Ayalon” prison in the city of Ramla in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948, in the presence of the prisoner’s family and his defense team.

“Manasra” faces difficult and dangerous health and psychological conditions in solitary confinement in “Eshel” prison in Beersheba.

The prisoner Al-Maqdisi was arrested on the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack in the “Pisgat Zeev” settlement in 2015 with his cousin, the martyr Hassan Manasra, and he was sentenced to 12 years in prison at that time, which was later commuted to nine and a half years in 2017.

The prisoner Manasra is a resident of the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem. When he was arrested, he was a student at the New Generation School in Jerusalem, and he was 13 years old at the time.
