The Israeli occupation forces continue their provocative practices, reinforcing their security measures in and around Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the so-called “Flag March” approaches, tomorrow, Thursday.

Yesterday evening, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces targeted Sheikh Raed Salah, the Sheikh of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and pursued him at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque and tracked him in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Jerusalemite sources reported that the occupation forces stopped Sheikh Raed Salah at Bab Hatta, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and then pursued and tracked him in the Old City of the Holy City.

The sources explained that the occupation forces pursued the Sheikh from the moment he entered Al-Aqsa Mosque until he left while he was praying a short while ago.

In recent years, and especially since 2010, Sheikh Raed Salah has been subjected to arbitrary actual imprisonment in the occupation prisons several times due to his peaceful activity against the racist occupation policies related to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque and his standing as an impregnable barrier against the Judaization and Westernization plans.
