Yesterday, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the newspaper “Haaretz” published a report on the most important test results for students in the occupied interior (1948) who are studying within the Israeli Bagrut curriculum.

Regarding (students’ ability to comprehend the Arabic language reading) what is called the Efficiency and Development Exam (Mtessab).

The results were disastrous, as they revealed that (88%) of the Arab students in the fourth grade were unable to understand the text.

As for eighth grade students, the percentage was about (76%).
