Under the title “Whoever controls the Temple Mount will control Judea and Samaria,” the alleged “temple” groups published calls for a new protest, with the approval of the occupation police, in front of the Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv, next Thursday, corresponding to January 25, 2024, demanding the expulsion of the Islamic Endowments from the mosque. The text of the call circulated by the “Sons of the Temple Mount” organization stated: “Our enemies are calling for the “Al-Aqsa Flood” war, and we are calling for the “Temple War.” We will demand the expulsion of the Jordanian Endowments Administration from the Temple Mount, the heart of the Holy of Holies, and the heart of the Jewish people!”

This call comes in the context of the agenda and project of the “Temple” organizations and settlement groups and is not isolated from a historical context of their calls to completely seize the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and transform it into a purely Jewish “biblical” and “Talmudic” place.

The researcher specializing in “Israeli” affairs, Muhammad Halsa, believes that the “Temple” groups at this historical moment are an important turning point that must be exploited for the interest to achieve its hopes of controlling Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Halasa said in his special statement to the Beit Al-Maqdis News Agency: “The temple groups see the presence of the Endowments and Jordanian control as an obstacle to achieving these hopes, and therefore they are intensifying their calls to remove the hand of the Islamic Endowments from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as the last symbol of Arab and Islamic symbols, and to remove the role of the Endowments in Al-Aqsa Mosque, even if this role is formal and devoid of all powers, but for them, this role means a lot and may be the main obstacle to the completion of their Judaization agendas in Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Halasa adds: “Important in the collective awareness of the (Temple) groups is the issue of the Jordanian state endowments’ control over the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, not because of the material obstacle it poses to the plans to Judaize Al-Aqsa, as these groups realize that the Jordanian role towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is the establishment of the endowments. Formal, the attempts to remove the presence of the Islamic Endowments in Al-Aqsa come as a psychological and moral step to sever all ties of the Arab and Islamic relationship with the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
