Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem, and surrounded a residential building that included an apartment in which the family of the martyr Khaled Al-Muhtaseb, who carried out a shooting attack in Jerusalem, lived.

Jerusalemite sources reported that the occupation forces began closing the house of the family of the martyr Khaled Al-Muhtaseb by pouring it with concrete, while intending to blow up another part in an operation that has been continuing for several hours amid an intense deployment of the occupation forces.

The martyr Khaled Al-Muhtaseb was the perpetrator of the shooting attack towards the occupation police station in Jerusalem during the month of October of the year

 the past.

With the closure of the house of the martyr Khaled Al-Muhtaseb (21 years old) in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, this morning, the number of retaliatory (punitive) demolitions in Jerusalem since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa flood has risen to 5.

The occupation blew up the house of the child prisoner Muhammad Zalbani in the Shuafat camp on the 8th of November 2023, and blew up the house of the martyr Khairy Alqam in the Al-Shiyah neighborhood on the 15th of the same month. It also blew up the homes of the two brothers, the martyrs Ibrahim and Murad Nimr, in the village of Sur Baher on the 9th. January of this year.

It is worth noting that the bodies of the martyrs Khaled Al-Muhtaseb, Khairy Alqam, and the two brothers Ibrahim and Murad Nimr are still being held by the occupation authorities.
