Last week, the occupation municipality in Jerusalem approved a large settlement plan in the French Hill settlement north of Jerusalem, near Mount Scopus, with 1,000 settlement housing units.
The plan includes demolishing 8 residential buildings within the settlement and replacing them with new ones, and includes towers up to 30 floors, in addition to green spaces, commercial areas, public institutions, synagogues, a school and kindergartens, to serve and attract settlers.
This settlement plan coincides with the large wave of demolition launched by the occupation municipality on the facilities of Jerusalemites in Jerusalem and its suburbs, where it has demolished 14 facilities since the beginning of this month, and last month 30.
