Dozens of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.

The Beit al-Maqdis News correspondent said that 130 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, carried out provocative raids in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, before leaving from the direction of Bab al-Silsilah.

The raids take place through the Mughrabi Gate in the western wall of the mosque, and are carried out under heavy guard by the Israeli police.

Settlers, under security protection, storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis, with the exception of Friday and Saturday (an official holiday for the occupation), and in two periods. Morning and extending from 07:30 - 11:30 am, and evening, starting with the end of the noon prayer and lasting for approximately two hours.
