Today, Monday, the Israeli occupation municipality issued arbitrary fines to the residents of the Al-Thawri neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Beit Al-Maqdis News correspondent said that members of the municipality and the occupation police stormed the Al-Thawri neighborhood and deployed among citizens’ homes and shops.
The reporter added that municipal officers and police issued arbitrary fines exceeding 7,000 shekels, under the pretext of placing trees, refrigerators, and other personal equipment in front of the doors of citizens’ homes in the neighborhood.
The occupation uses the policy of imposing arbitrary violations and fines against Jerusalemites to pressure them and attempt to displace them and expel them outside Jerusalem.
