The Israeli occupation forces continue to close the roads leading to the Old City of Jerusalem, near the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to the Jerusalem News correspondent, the occupation forces are closing the Silwan-Old City Road, the main street in the town, and the Bab al-Asbat and Wadi al-Joz roads north of the Old City.
The correspondent adds that the occupation forces are setting up a number of “temporary” flying checkpoints in the Sheikh Jarrah and Ras al-Amud neighborhoods, in the center of occupied Jerusalem.
The occupation forces close the streets and set up checkpoints in Jerusalem during the Jewish holidays to secure the settlers’ incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City.
