A Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire near the town of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, on Sunday, after the occupation claimed that he had attempted to carry out a car-ramming attack.

Local sources reported that the martyr is Sami Al-Zagh Al-Amoudi, a resident of the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.

The occupation police claimed that Al-Amoudi tried to run over a number of soldiers near the town of Hizma on Road 437, which connects the towns of Anata and Hizma.
