Mahmoud Mardawi, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), called for confronting the increasing attacks by settlers in the West Bank, and escalating resistance in all its forms to deter the occupation and its settlers from their crimes.
Mardawi pointed out - in a statement today, Wednesday - that the escalation of settler crimes comes under a right-wing government and extremist ministers, who are pushing the pace of attacks to unprecedented levels, stressing at the same time the need for the resistance to ignite in all areas of the West Bank and reach a high peak that rises to the level of the crime of genocide against our people and their sanctities.
Mardawi said: “The settlers must pay the price for their crimes and destruction of Palestinian property,” adding that “the people of the West Bank must stand together in the face of these crimes.”
